Today is the day. You contact the professionals at Home Services Direct, and today you’ll finally get the ball rolling on your home project. But how does the process work? Using our proven construction process, it’s simple and straightforward from beginning to end. Here’s how it works.
First, one of our knowledgeable project estimators will meet with you in the comfort of your home. You’ll receive a brief presentation giving you a more detailed look at what our company can do for you. We’ll discuss ideas for your project, the relative scope of the work, and budgetary considerations. At that point we’ll be able to provide you with a rough estimate for your project.
Next, after our team undertakes some initial planning, you’ll meet with your estimator a second time. At this point we’ll be able to provide you with a more detailed and accurate estimate.. We’ll personalize options for materials used, and if desired, we’ll review design drawings. At this point, pricing will be finalized and agreements will be agreed upon and signed. We’ll also establish your payment schedule, which is based upon the job cost and project time frame, and collect a deposit.
Then, depending on the difficulty and size of your project, you’ll either meet with or teleconference with our Kitchen, Bath and Home remodeling designer. You’ll be able to select accessories, such as tile, cabinets, plumbing fixtures and lighting. Once you’ve made your selection, we’ll order the necessary materials. At this point, we’ll establish the construction start date and work schedule. If your project requires a permit, we’ll also prepare and submit all the necessary paperwork for your convenience.
After that, the pre-construction walkthrough will take place. You’ll meet with your estimator, project manager, remodeling designer, and the Main Job Lead, the primary craftsman tasked with completing your project. Your team will assess any aspects that demand special attention and resolve the details of the daily construction schedule. Naturally, all of our professionals will be able to address any questions or concerns you have.
Finally, the most exciting part of any project, we’ll get started! Don’t worry, we’ll set up home protection and dust barriers in order to minimize the inconvenience. During every day of work, your project manager will check all the details to ensure everything is running smoothly. We’ll also be sure to clean up at the end of each work day. Once the project is completed, we’ll walk through it with you to make sure you’re fully satisfied. After we receive your approval, all excess materials will be removed, and we’ll take care of warranties and final payment.
